Gangtok Rim

Gangtok Rim is a single day tour designed to provide experience of riding in and around Gangtok covering major tourist areas with easy riding. Tour will start from HUB OUTDOOR and cover major view points, monasteries and tourist attraction.

Hub Outdoor Bojoghari , Gonjang Monastery , Tashi View point, Himalayan zoological park, Ganesh Tok, Hunuman tok, Eanchay Monastery, cottage industry (Sunday closed) . end at Hub Outdoor.

On route view from Ganesh tok

The Ganesh Tok offers a fascinating view of the surrounding regions. One can get a clear view of Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim. The premises of the Raj Bhavan can also be viewed from this temple. If you visit the Ganesh Tok in Sikkim on a cloudless day, then you might be fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of the magnificent Mt. Khangchendzonga.

Gonjang Monastery Terton Shakya Zangpo’s sixth reincarnation Rigzin Pema Choephel (1773-1836) studied from Rigzin Kunzang Dorje who was the spiritual son of previous Rinpoche. He was intelligent, kindhearted and very bold since his childhood. He was great scholar and poet had written many valuable texts. He also took renovations to the fabric of the Great Stupa as his predecessors.

Hanuman Tok is a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. The temple is surrounded by lush green parks and beautiful mountains. From the temple one gets unobstructed views of Kanchenjunga. One can relax on the benches in the parks and soak themselves in the magnificent and religious culture of Sikkim. Later in 1950 the idol of Lord Hanuman was established here. Since then the temple is locally known as the Hanuma Tok.
