Bustee The Village

“Bustee the village” is a mountain biking tour designed for people who love countryside lifestyle and countryside riding. The tour will start from Gangtok and visit the quite village Lingmoo which is 60 kms farway. In village you will get a chance to meet local family and to stay together with them. Food during the stay will be organic and one can visit the farm side and enjoy cooking with family.

Extended Itinerary :

Day 1 – Gangtok to Lingmoo 50 kms (note halfway is downhill )

The toue will start from Gangtok and move toward Pangthang capturing a mountain view after covering almost 12 kms at the altitude of 1900 mts we will start riding downhill to Samdong village experiencing a deep valley in between and move further to lower Samdong almost at the altitude of 600 mts. From here we ride at flat road further to Makha a small town where we will have Lunch, after we will cross river Teesta and enter south Sikkim in to a quite Lingmoo village, after reaching we will stay in home stay with local family.

Day 2 – Lingmoo to Yangang

After breakfast we will hike and explore Lingmoo village to experience the lifestyle in Sikkimese village. we will visit small Lepcha (tribe) village to explore local arcitucture which still survive in this modern world. After coming back we will have lunch or refreshment. After lunch we will start riding toward Yangang which have beautiful waterfall , monasttery. and in evening we will experience a camp fire with local family. Overnight stay at home stay.

Day 3- Yangang to Singtam and drive back to Gngtok

Its time to say good bye to beautiful countryside , early mornig after breakfast we will start riding downhill towards karongthang a orange orchard during season we can experience orange collection from orchard . Further riding downhill we will reach Manglay a small village near by river from here we will climb and again ride down to base of river teesta a lunch spot.after lunch we will ride further to Singtam one of the biggest town in Sikkim and from there we get will connected to highway which connect Gangtok. The ride will continue towards 32 mile where we can experience swimming in local pool.from here will packup and drive to Gangtok.end of the tour (optional) overnight stay at Gangtok Hub Adventure Homestay.
